Michael Walter has over 32 years of experience in the energy sector ranging from exploration & production to end-use market beginning in 1982 with KNEnergy, Inc. (now KinderMorgan) where he managed the transmission, compression, storage and regulated distribution of natural gas. Michael left KN to pursue opportunities created by deregulation, successfully traded energy, owned and operated non-regulated and regulated assets, provided service in E&P through drilling and drilling services, pipeline construction and project management.  In 2014, he joined Monterra Energy, a KKR portfolio company, as a Partner, Executive VP and Operating Officer. 



David Tang has over 25 years of experience in the energy and finance industries. David’s experience includes finance, acquisitions and divestitures, business and project development, and engineering.  He was an Executive Director with JP Morgan Chase’s energy projects funds.  David was also a Managing Director with Cinergy Corp. (now Duke Energy) in its non-regulated power division where he acquired energy assets via joint ventures, acquisitions, and bankruptcy.  Prior to that, David performed project financings for two large commercial banks in New York City.  He started his career as an engineer for General Electric building gas turbines and aircraft engines.



Aaron Ball is an energy attorney and energy investment company executive with over 21 years of experience.  While a member of global law firms and as the general counsel for an independent oil and gas company, Aaron has worked with national oil companies, sovereign governments, major oil companies and private investment groups on oil and gas development and infrastructure projects all over the world. Aaron was named to Houston Business Journal's "40 under 40" of top business leaders and received two "Best Corporate Counsel" awards from Houston Business Journal for his work as general counsel of an energy company ("Best General Counsel" and "Up and Comer").
